Super Green Smoothie

 

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cucumber

  • 1 stick celery

  • Handful of spinach leaves

  • 2 inches courgette

  • 1/4 lime, peeled

  • 2 apples, preferably golden delicious

  • 1/2 ripe avocado

  • Handful of ice

  • 1 teaspoon of Spirulina or green superfood powder (optional)

  • If you are not used to drinking green juices and need something a bit sweeter, you can also add 1⁄4 pineapple

Method

  1. Juice everything except the avocado

  2. Place juice in a blender with the avocado and ice (and spirulina if using).

  3. Add some water if you prefer a thinner consistency.
    Pour into a glass and enjoy!
