Chocolate Protein Balls
Makes 15 - 20 Balls
Ingredients
1 cup of medjool dates
3/4 of a cup of almonds
3/4 of a cup of walnuts
2 tbsp of chia seeds
2 tbsp of ground flax seed
1 tbsp of coconut oil
1 tbsp of chocolate protein powder
1 tbsp of raw cacao powder
2-3 tbsp of desiccated coconut
Method
Place the almonds, walnuts, ground flax seed and chia seeds in your food processor. Blend for 1 minute until the nuts are in small pieces
Add the remaining ingredients, pitting and chopping the dates in quarters before adding Blend for another minute until a sticky dough forms.
Roll the mixture into little balls then roll them in the desiccated coconut to coat (you can also roll them in sesame or chia seeds or crushed flaked almonds if you don't like coconut)
Chill in the fridge until ready to eat
